What Does a Wedding Photographer Cost Near Conroe? Our Packages, Explained (No Fine Print)
Updated: Oct 8
We're Bri & Scott, a husband-and-wife photo and video team based in the Conroe area. We shoot weddings, engagements, elopements, families, and graduations around Cypress, Spring, The Woodlands, Conroe, Willis, New Waverly, Huntsville, and Montgomery County. One of the first things couples ask us is some version of "How much do you cost?" which is a fair question. So here's the honest answer, with no fine print and no sticker shock.
Wedding photographer cost near Conroe: the short version
Our wedding packages are $350, $1,400, and $2,100. That's it. No mystery add-ons buried in a contract. Pick the one that matches your day, and you'll know exactly what you're getting before you book.
Here's what each one covers.
The $350 package: 1 hour, for the rule-breakers
This one's for the quiet vow-sayers, the just-the-two-of-us couples, and anyone who wants real photos without a full wedding day. You get 1 hour of photo coverage and 50+ edited images in a high-res gallery.
It works really well for:
Elopements and courthouse-style days
Intimate ceremonies with a tiny guest list
Getting married somewhere beautiful and keeping it simple
Anniversary or vow renewal sessions if you want wedding-day energy without the full production
If your whole day is short on purpose, this is the package that respects that.
The $1,400 package: 4 hours, for the sweet spot
Four hours is where a lot of our couples land. You get 200+ edited images, a high-res gallery, and timeline support plus a planning call. Galleries are delivered in about two weeks on average.
Four hours is usually enough to cover:
Getting ready (or at least one person's getting ready)
The ceremony
A chunk of portraits
Cocktail hour or the start of the reception
It's a strong fit if your day is focused, the guest list is smaller, or you care most about the moments before and during the vows. You'll still get the good stuff. You just won't be with us until last call.
The $2,100 package: 6 hours, for the full day
Six hours is our full-day package. You get up to 6 hours of photo coverage, 800+ edited photos, timeline help, a high-res gallery, and sneak peeks within a week. Galleries still land in about two weeks on average.
Six hours is what we recommend when:
You want us there from getting ready through the last dance
The day has a lot of moving parts (multiple locations, a big timeline, a lot of people)
You want the little in-between moments, not just the big posed ones
You'd rather not pick and choose what gets cut
This is the "we don't want to miss anything" package, and we're happy to be there for all of it.
How our prices compare around Conroe, Houston, and Texas
If you've started pricing wedding photographers around Conroe, The Woodlands, Spring, Montgomery, and nearby North Houston suburbs, you've probably seen a wide spread. Houston-area guides often put a standard eight-hour wedding day somewhere around $2,800–$4,600. A 2026 analysis of real Texas pricing guides found a median of about $3,795 for wedding-day packages overall, and about $4,500 for 7–10 hours of coverage. Closer to home, full-day packages from local photographers commonly start in the high-$1,000s to mid-$2,000s for one photographer, and two-photographer collections often run $3,200–$3,800.
We built our packages to sit at the accessible end of that range without cutting corners: $350 for a one-hour ceremony or courthouse wedding, $1,400 for four hours, and $2,100 for 6 hours. A fair comparison is always about hours, how many people are behind the camera, and what you actually receive. Here's how ours line up against published ranges (photo coverage only, so we're not mixing in video bundles):
About 1 hour: Houston-area 1-hour wedding packages commonly run about $350–$450, and a lot of photographers require 2–3 hour minimums. Ours: $350 for 1 hour.
About 4 hours: Published local 3–4 hour packages run about $1,200–$2,200. The Texas median for packages of 6 hours or less is about $1,500. Ours: $1,400 for 4 hours.
8 hours: Local single-photographer packages often run about $1,850–$2,600. Houston guides put a standard 8-hour day at about $2,800–$4,600, and the Texas median for 7–10 hours is about $4,500. Ours: $2,100 for 6 hours.
A few caveats, because pricing is messy. Willis, New Waverly, and Huntsville have almost no published wedding prices, so for those towns we lean on Conroe, The Woodlands, and Houston figures. Some local packages are lower than ours for shorter days, so we're not going to claim we're the cheapest. And these three packages are hour-based photo coverage. We're a photo and video team, but these prices do not automatically include video. If you want video, ask us what's available for your date.
Ranges reflect published starting prices and 2025–2026 industry guides (including The Knot, Tulle Together, and Houston-area photographer pricing pages) as of October 2026. Actual quotes vary with hours, second shooters, albums, travel, and tax.
What to ask any wedding photographer so you can compare fairly
Price tags only mean something when you know what's inside them. When you're talking to photographers around Conroe, The Woodlands, and Cypress, ask these:
How many hours are included? And what happens if we go over?
How many edited photos do we get? Is that a minimum or a typical number?
When do we get sneak peeks and the full gallery?
Do you help with our timeline? Or do we have to figure out every portrait location ourselves?
What's included for travel? Are there extra fees for venues outside a certain area?
Who will be shooting? Just one photographer, or is a second shooter an option?
Can we see recent work from weddings like ours? Same vibe, same kind of day.
Is video included, or is that a separate package?
If one photographer quotes $800 and another quotes $2,100, those numbers only help if you know whether one of them is covering 2 hours or 10. Comparing the scope, not just the sticker price, is how you avoid the sticker shock later.
How we keep pricing clear
We put our prices on the website because guessing games help nobody. You can see the $350, $1,400, and $2,100 packages on our Weddings page before you ever email us. We're transparent about what's included, and we don't do hidden fees.
That doesn't mean every day needs the biggest package. It means you get to choose with your eyes open.
Which package should you book?
A quick gut check:
Small day, elopement, or just us? Start with $350.
Ceremony plus portraits plus a bit of celebration? $1,400 is usually the sweet spot.
Full day, lots of people, and you want everything? $2,100.
If you're still torn, send us your rough timeline. We'll tell you honestly whether four hours or six makes more sense. We'd rather you book the right fit than overpay for hours you won't use.
Ready to talk dates?
